Privacy & cookies
This site presents books published under the Liminal Manifold name. For privacy questions, contact contact@liminalmanifold.com.
Optional Google Analytics
If you allow analytics, this site loads Google Analytics to measure page visits and clicks on book purchase links. Analytics may receive technical information about your browser and device, together with usage data. It uses first-party cookies, including _ga and _ga_PN90PR47BG, to distinguish visits. On this site those cookies are configured to expire after 180 days. Advertising consent and Google signals are disabled in our tag configuration.
Our Google tag does not load before you allow analytics. Declining does not limit access to the site. You can change your choice at any time using Cookie settings in the footer; withdrawing permission stops our tracking and removes the Analytics cookies accessible to this site.
Google processes analytics data under its own terms and privacy policy. Learn more about how Google uses information from partner sites.
Your saved choice
We store your analytics choice in your browser’s local storage under liminal.analytics.v1 for up to 180 days. This preference stays in your browser. If you clear website data or switch browsers, you may be asked again.
Choosing your Amazon store
Book pages use an approximate country lookup to suggest an Amazon store. The lookup runs on this website’s server using the IP address of the incoming request and a local country database. It does not request your precise location or send your IP address to an external geolocation service. Our country-lookup code does not record your IP address or set a cookie; the hosting provider may still keep its normal access and security logs.
The data comes from IP Geolocation by DB-IP, used under CC BY 4.0. We convert its country ranges into local lookup indexes. IP location is approximate and can reflect a VPN or network provider rather than your actual country.
You can choose your Amazon store on any book page. We save only a manual store choice in your browser under liminal.amazon-store.v1 for up to 180 days. Choosing Automatic removes that saved preference and performs a new lookup. Automatically detected countries are not saved. Store selection works independently of your analytics choice.
Countries without a dedicated Amazon store, or failed lookups, use Amazon.com. Kindle and paperback distribution differ: where KDP does not offer the selected format through that store, we use a supported store and identify it on the purchase button. Amazon controls product availability, delivery and account eligibility.
Links and correspondence
Amazon and social links open external services with their own privacy practices. If you email us, your email service and ours process the message so we can respond. The web host may process technical request information to deliver and secure this site.
