About Liminal Manifold

Liminal Manifold is an independent art label operating at the margins. We work with musicians, writers, and illustrators who share a fascination with thresholds, the spaces between genres, between media, between the familiar and the strange.

We believe the most interesting art happens at boundaries. Not squarely within a genre, but at the edges where categories blur and new forms emerge. We don't chase trends or optimize for algorithms. We find work that resonates at frequencies most labels can't or won't tune into.

Our name comes from mathematics and liminal space theory. A manifold is a topological space that locally resembles ordinary space but may have a more complex global structure. The liminal is the threshold, the in-between. Together: a space of infinite possibility that looks simple from any single vantage point but reveals its true complexity only to those who explore it.
